I believe that yaoi = male x male sex, shounen-ai = male x male love (not usually explicit like yaoi), yuri = female x female sex, shoujo-ai = female x female love (not usually explicit like yuri), hentai = anime pornography.

That is what I have learnt anyway.

Shoujo-ai is less common I think - since all the fangirls prefer shounen-ai and yaoi :3 It's definately out there though.
